We strongly advise against you putting any of our products in the dishwasher and to avoid submerging them in water. They are designed to be hand-washed and rinsed only. We recommend hand-washing with warm, soapy water and using aftercare products like our Beeswax Blend which will last you an entire year.

We use a highly concentrated blend of food-grade mineral oil and locally sourced NZ beeswax to make our very own Beeswax Blend. Our boards are soaked in the oil blend for around 5 minutes post-production. They soak up a lot of oil which nourishes the wood for many years to come. You can purchase your own Beeswax Blend from our store to treat the board yourself at home. One bottle will last you a whole year.

Our boards are made from highly durable native New Zealand hardwood timber. Their fibers expand and heal from marks and scuffs quickly, protecting not only the wooden board, but your knives as well. So, you can have piece of mind when using your expensive knives on your one of a kind board.

Absolutely! With enough lead time our workshops can produce large quantities of products for personal and corporate gifts, events, special occasions and anything else you require. Speak to us about your bulk order requirements now.

As with all things that are built to last, we do recommend some aftercare. Ensure that your board or other wooden item stays out of the dishwasher and is only washed by hand in warm, soapy water. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept visitors or tours to our workshop, the space is currently just too small to accommodate visitors. And for Health and Safety regulations we would not legally be able to host visitors or guests at this time.

We source our very special beeswax from a local supplier in New Zealand. The beeswax is used in combination with food-grade mineral oil to finish the board’s post-production. You can buy your own Beeswax Blend online from us here.

We definitely do not use any type of vegetable oil to seal our boards as it goes rancid very quickly. We use a very special food-grade mineral oil on our boards. It is completely odourless and tasteless and 100% safe for use in your kitchen and working with food.

You can buy everything in our range directly from us online in our store. Or visit the stores of one of our many stockists around New Zealand.

With proper care and regular use of some aftercare products, our products will last for years to come.  Ensure that your board or other wooden item stays out of the dishwasher and out of direct sunlight for long periods of time to prevent cracking.  Hand wash in warm, soapy water and avoid submerging the boards in water.
